I'm an experienced, interactive counselor who has a specialty working with "Nice Guys" - men who are people-pleasers and conflict-avoiders. Being a "Nice Guy" has some predictable problems for men & women in romantic relationships, friendships, family and work. I'd say the vast majority of men coming to see me decided because of a problem in one of these relationships.
Because of my own biography, I also tend to work with a lot of people from the corporate and high-tech worlds (I was a techie for over a decade before becoming a therapist) as well as people from the East Coast and others who are finding it difficult to acculturate to the social environment in Seattle (I taught classes for years on what is called "The Seattle Freeze").
