My techniques stem from a strength-based approach. I believe that labels should be avoided when working with clients as clients begin to label themselves. Furthermore, my approach is holistic, offering nurturing acceptance, non-shaming suggestions, and non-blaming coping mechanisms. l have personal experience with recovery and also specialize in mood disorders—particularly, bipolar disorders and borderline personality disorder.

I regularly work with clients who suffer from depression and anxiety. I believe in the here and now and am grounded in the idea that clients have a choice when it comes to healing themselves. However, some clients are in need of guidance and a place to feel safe.
