As a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns.  With sensitivity and compassion, clients are helped to find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues.  My practice draws upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful to each client.  Each client builds upon their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

My practice provides a very safe, caring, and nurturing environment for clients to explore their problems and their sometimes very painful or difficult histories. Each client is encouraged to be an active participant in treatment and to voice any fears or concerns in a timely manner. Clients are involved in their own treatment planning including the topics covered and the speed at which treatment will proceed.

Additionally, my expertise and experience in long-term care settings can provide insight for and serve as a valuable resource to the families or caregivers of the elderly.  Better understanding of how the long-term care system functions and providing referrals to the appropriate resources for long-term care planning can be addressed.
