I am Robert Gordon, M.S., M.A. and I can help:
I serve individuals, couples, groups, and teams with practical, measurable, solution-focused strategies, delivered with compassion and skill. I employ an integrative/holistic approach to counseling and coaching that helps my clients achieve results in their relationships, work, and spiritual lives. I am experienced in working with clients on life purpose, calling, and career; relationship and marriage; wellness; addiction and recovery; codependency; adult ADD; loss & bereavement; and spiritual growth & crisis.
I draw upon my own varied life experiences to help clients actualize their full potential. Before entering the counseling field, I directed training, career development, and organization development for three large public agencies; led comedy troupes and professional bands; created award-winning comedy videos; and published essays and cartoons in regional periodicals. I like to "do it all" and so can you.
My M.S. is from American University in collaboration with the NTL Institute for Applied Behavioral
Science. I also earned an M.A. in Applied Healing Arts with a concentration in Spiritual Care from the Tai
Sophia Institute, where I am an adjunct faculty member.
I am doing additional graduate work in Pastoral Counseling with an interfaith focus at Loyola University Maryland.
